This project aimed to assist 720 Glassworks, a husband-and-wife team operating an art glass studio, in enhancing their online presence. Our collaboration focused on a website redesign and refreshed brand identity to showcase their distinct creative pieces, to help them accomplish their goal of driving audience engagement and sales growth.
James & Andrea blend their artistic vision and over a decade of experience, crafting a unique identity that extends beyond exceptional glass pieces—it embodies the profound philosophy of "720."
Behind the Name: Aligned beyond 360 degrees, it represents the present (360 degrees) and envisioned future (360 degrees). The total solar eclipse metaphorizes rare moments of alignment within the 720-degree journey, where personal growth converges with fulfillment.
720 Glassworks embodies a brand personality defined by artistry, transformation, and inspiration.
The commitment to craftsmanship and the transformative philosophy of "720" distinctly shape the brand's persona, appealing to target customers who align with creativity, inspiration, and a quest for self-discovery.
Identifying Pain Points: Exploring New Strategies
720 Glassworks is eager to bolster its B2C operations. However, its current website lacks the essential functionality and engagement required to effectively captivate its customer base. This deficiency has led to underwhelming sales conversions, which do not align with their goals for expanding this sector of their business.
The project's goal is to revitalize the brand, heighten awareness among consumers and businesses, and expand brand reach for increased connections and conversions. This includes targeting new customers in both B2C and B2B sectors.
Goal: To authentically and effectively communicate the company's mission: "To inspire personal growth and celebrate the beauty of individual expression."
In collaboration with the client, the final logo integrates essential elements: the original 720 maker's mark style, an integrated eclipse, and a tree reminiscent of Andrea's previous logo. This creates a visually distinctive design that embodies their company vision.
Business Cards - Incorporating the new logo and branding, the back side offers the option for various images on the back with a QR code to compel visitors to the website to browse and purchase. MOO printing offers "variety printing" at no extra charge.
Branded Identity Items, including letterhead that can be used for invoicing, a thank you card and a trifold brochure to enclose in with orders and give out to prospective customers. Pricing intentionally does not appear in order on the brochure enabling it to be used for both wholesale and retail customer distribution.
This brochure serves a dual purpose: it accompanies both retail and wholesale orders during shipment and acts as a handy takeaway at trade shows. It provides a comprehensive overview of their information, including contact details, along with a convenient QR code for instant access to their website.
Since this is not a typical size for a trifold, research was done to make sure this was a realistic project to budget for printing. Priority Print Service is a good source without a high minimum order. At the time of this research (2024) the cost would be $97.50 for 250 full color both sides, glossy.
720 Glassworks prioritizes cohesive branding across all marketing materials and packaging. With the newly redesigned logo and imagery, we've crafted refreshed versions that effectively carry their brand forward.
