During the discovery meeting with Kristie, the owner of DeVeer Designs, the primary goals were to elevate the brand's presence and increase market reach, especially targeting a broader retail audience while respecting established wholesale relationships. The challenges discussed encompassed inconsistent social media engagement, having not posted in over six months, and the necessity for more regular email communication with the customer base. The goals also focused on strategically promoting retired lines to maintain pricing consistency for wholesale partners, while expanding visibility and sales through targeted marketing efforts.

To fully immerse in DeVeer Designs, an invitation to Kristie's Montana studio facilitated a rapid onboarding and deeper understanding of the brand voice. This visit enabled tailored marketing strategies that enhanced both the social media presence and the alignment of retail and wholesale promotions, effectively expanding market reach and brand visibility.

Note: While the hands-on approach deepened our connection with DeVeer Designs, it is unique to this project. Each partnership is customized to meet specific goals, ensuring effective outcomes with varying levels of collaboration, often conducted virtually.

 

Complete Audit of Marketing Channels

During the business's move to a larger location, Steven was supported as we served as his advisor, guiding the best execution of marketing ideas, sourcing signage, and publicizing the move to members. This involved working on the website refresh, print materials, and email blasts to maintain communication with members. 

A website mockup was created to give him a reference for his home page refresh and to execute his ideas of how he would like it to look based on our initial discovery meeting.

Refreshing Branding

In order to refresh the branding without undergoing a full logo re-design, we added to the logo, making their legacy logo the centerpiece and adding the value proposition and their location into an emblem shape. This messaging at first impression tells the audience that this is a company with work that is made in Montana.  The use of bright colors is reflective of the vibrant colors in the glass with primary color desired in purple, which is the first color of choice at DeVeer Designs.

Email Newsletter - relaunch

The newsletter redesign integrates DeVeer Designs' refreshed branding to ensure consistency across all communications. It re-engaged subscribers with a more intimate and conversational approach, offering behind-the-scenes insights, previews of new collections, and exclusive promotions. This strategic update enhanced user engagement, aligning with the brand’s approachable ethos and strengthening community connections.
